Art of facing Interview -- Personality Development


Personal interview is one of the commonly used selection process in every organisation.An interview is a face to face conversation between two or more people. The purpose of interview is to gather the information regarding a candidate's academic qualification, family background, physical appearance, level of confidence and intelligence, aptitude and interests and so on. It is commonly seen that during interview time the interviewer asks some questions and the candidate will answer the question. An excellent personality is very much essential for attending an interview. Develop your personality for better performance.Moreover you must be well prepared before attending an interview. The interviewer check knowledge of the subject, IQ, aptitude and attitude, general knowledge etc.Unless you prepare well for the interview, you will fail in interviews. Every one should keep this in mind. Here are some tips for better performance.

Be yourself: In order to impress the interviewer some may exhibit artificial personality. It looks like unnatural and never you can impress them with this artificiality.Instead of impressing it may irritate them. So avoid acting in front of the interviewers and try to be yourself. Exhibit your genuine quality which can impress your interviewers.

Reach the interview venue half an hour before: If you reach early you will get time to understand about the work culture and the expectation of the company. Moreover you will get the time to relax and this improves your confidence level.

Collect information about the company: Interviewer may ask some questions related to their company to check your knowledge about the company. Try to collect some information regarding the company for giving right answer for their questions. Don’t be nervous and be confident while you answer the question. You can collect information through Internet, company brouchers and through any other sources.

Be honest: Don’t tell lie to the interview board. Try to give the answer honestly to their questions.Remember they can identify easily whether the answer is true or not. So try not to give false notion about you as it affects your performance.

Wish all the interview board before and after the interview: Due to nervous most of the people forget to wish the members. If you wish them it will give a good impression about you. Be relaxed before entering in to the hall and wish them with a beautiful smile on your face.Remember, first impression is the best impression.

Maintain a good body language: Maintaining good body language is one of the easiest ways to impress your board members. Moreover it improves your confidence level which will help you to perform well.

Be well dressed: Remember your physical appearance also influences your performance.Well dressed manner will improve your confidence level and also enhance your performances, thereby you can impress your interviewer. Dress well to look smart and confident.

Practice some question: Practice some possible questions that the interview board will ask. This helps you to provide an excellent performance.This will give them an impression that you are enough confident to answer for their question. By practicing like this you can impress your interview board.
